We use only premium New Zealand vegetable-tanned leather to create our journals. This traditional, eco-conscious process produces beautifully crafted leather journals with exceptional durability.
Each hide is naturally unique, with its own markings, grain, grooves, and subtle variations. These natural characteristics are part of what makes every journal one of a kind — no two are ever exactly the same.
Over time, the leather develops a rich, characterful patina, deepening in colour and becoming even more beautiful with use. As the marks and patterns of the leather evolve, your journal takes on a character and story of its own, making it a truly personal companion that only gets better with age.
Designed to last and be refillable for years of writing and journaling, our leather journals are made to be used, loved, and carried with you everyday.

Caring for Your Leather Journal
Your leather journal is designed to be used, loved and enjoyed over time. Like all genuine leather, it will naturally develop its own character as it ages, making your journal uniquely yours.
Keep It Dry
Avoid exposing your journal to excessive moisture, rain or spills. If it does become damp, gently wipe away any moisture with a soft, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Keep it away from direct heat, hairdryers and heaters, as these can dry out or damage the leather.
Handle With Care
Leather will naturally soften and develop creases, marks and variations with use. These are part of its character and are not considered flaws. Avoid placing sharp or rough objects against the cover that could scratch or damage the surface.
Keep It Clean
For everyday care, simply wipe the leather gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol-based products, baby wipes and other harsh chemicals, as they may stain or alter the leather.
Conditioning
Depending on the type of leather, occasional conditioning may help maintain its softness and appearance. Always use a leather conditioner suitable for your specific leather and test it first on a small, discreet area. Too much product can darken or alter the leather.
Store It Well
When not in use, store your journal in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight. Avoid storing it in damp or humid areas.
Embrace the Character
The beauty of genuine leather is that it changes with you. Natural markings, creases, colour variations and small signs of use are all part of the leather's journey. Over time, your journal will develop a beautiful patina and become a reflection of the life it has been part of.
Treat it well, use it often, and let it become uniquely yours.
